WUSD Override Renewal on November 2018 Ballot
Renewal of the Maintenance and Operations Override will be on the November 2018 Ballot. The override is renewed every 5 years and thanks to our supportive taxpayers, has been continuously in place for 23 years. There are 4 main points to the override:
This is not a new tax. It is a renewal.
The current tax rate will not increase.
Bond money cannot be used for Maintenance & Operations needs. Per legislation.
In WUSD, override funds are used for teacher and support staff salaries and benefits.
